The course makes students investigate a real site in a given context. It may consist for example in a contamination problem. Students will perform a series of field tests (pumping, tracer, drilling, CPT, geophysics) to characterize the various properties of the subsurface with a view to achieve the given objectives.
Learning outcomes of the learning unit
- Design an integrated campaign for collecting hydrogeological, geotechnical and geophysical data.
- Follow a geological drilling.
- Conduct well surveys.
- Characterize the spatial variations of parameters and data.
- Integrate nd interprete a set of data.
Prerequisite knowledge and skills
