Learning unit contents
The first part of the course will aim to present the peculiarities of the main sport categories while detailing the most popular sports and approaching the planning principles.
- Athleticism
- Swimming
- Gymnastics.
The second part of the course will focus on:
- In team sports
- In racket sports
- Combat sports
Learning outcomes of the learning unit
The aim of the course "Conceptualization" is to integrate training concepts, evaluation and planning developed in previous courses and to apply them in different training contexts.
It will focus initially on the analytical approach of the training context. The focus will be on:
- The population concerned.
- The characteristics of the sport.
- The traditional methods of training.
- The existing means.
- The set reasonable goals.
- The constraints of context.
From the various elements highlighted, a reflexive approach will be used to determine how to construct types sessions and an intelligent programming.

Components of physical fitness (3 BKR).
Planned learning activities and teaching methods
The course will explore the different facets of training. The reflexive approach exposed during the course and stimulated during exercises should enable students to consider the physical training in any sporting context.

The slideshows presented during the year will be published online on the MyUlg portal. They constitute the main support but they must be completed by the information given in the theoretical course.
Assessment methods and criteria
Below you will find information on the evaluation methods planned for in-person and remote exams as well as those planned for hybrid sessions. Depending on how the health crisis evolves, the chosen method will be communicated to you no later than one month before the start of the exam session.
Any session :
- In-person
written exam ( multiple-choice questionnaire, open-ended questions )
- Remote
written exam ( open-ended questions ) AND written work
- If evaluation in "hybrid"
preferred in-person
Additional information:
The assessment consists of a written examination with open questions or an oral examination depending on the health situation.
