Learning outcomes of the learning unit

Learn to know Knowledge: Be able to define and describe different concepts. Understanding: Being able to explain different forms of extremes and serials violences. Learn to do Analysis: Be able to discriminate and distinguish salient features of those types of violences. Learn to be Be able to manage the deadlines in learnings and the eventuals requested works. Be able to interact and to be proactively present at courses. Develop a critical sense.

Planned learning activities and teaching methods

Learning is carried out through a lecture alternating every other week face-to-face and at a distance (Unicast) and compulsory reading of scientific articles. It is also based on the availability of various resources and the reading of books dealing with the subjects addressed. Depending on the evolution of the health situation, learning would be given remotely through resources on e-campus.

Recommended or required readings

Will be available on-line on e-campus:
- Powerpoint slides.
- The list of imposed scientific articles which are part of the exam. - The list of recommended books.
Also available on e-campus for a deepening of the different content content: articles, references, multimedia, etc.

Assessment methods and criteria

Below you will find information on the evaluation methods planned for in-person and remote exams as well as those planned for hybrid sessions. Depending on how the health crisis evolves, the chosen method will be communicated to you no later than one month before the start of the exam session.

Additional information:

In January, the assessment is constituted of a multiple choices examination on the contents (dispended+ scientific articles) face-to-face or remotely depending on health conditions. The September assessment is constituted of a multiple choices examination on the dispensed contents. on the same content face-to-face or remotely depending on health conditions.
