Learning unit contents

The course Multilingual communication: film and television in the Euregio offers a structural and cultural approach of the European audiovisual production in a transdisciplinary perspective.
Concretely, the course will focus on several productions and projects (movies, festivals, television programs) which are usually considered as specifically European, in order to identify some of the linguistic, formal and narrative specificities of these productions (multilingualism, representation of intercommunity relations, etc.), with the overall aim to provide an insight into a field that is currently undergoing an on-going process of internationalization, both in terms of production and reception.

Learning outcomes of the learning unit

At the end of the course, the students will master the main linguistic, aesthetic and narrative issues in some of the main productions of the European audiovisual sector.
