Learning outcomes of the learning unit

At the end of this course, the student must be able :


  • to know the origin of pesticides and biocides and understand the issues of chemical control in the general framework a sustainable agriculture.
  • to know the main properties (physico-chemical, biological, toxicological and ecotoxicological) for the risk assessment of pesticides and biocides
  • to adopt a holistic approach to assess risks
  • to identify solutions and alternatives

Group Work
Hybrid course (workload 30 h)

Prepare a Power point (about 15 slides). Oral presentation. Oral answer to questions.

Assessment methods and criteria
