Learning unit contents

The first part describes the structure and the properties different classes of biomolecules: amino acids, proteins, enzymes, glucids, lipids and cofactors.
the scond part deals with the metabolic pathways involving thes biomolecules.

Prerequisite knowledge and skills

Basic knowledge of chemistry, organic chemistry and biology is required to follow biochemistry.

Planned learning activities and teaching methods

Mode of delivery (face to face, distance learning, hybrid learning)

This is a face-to-face teaching using slides and schemes performed on the black board.

Organisational adjustments related to the current health context

If sanitary conditions permit, the January exam will be written and face-to-face. There will be three parts: i) questions with multiple choice (+1, 0, -0.5); ii) short answer open-ended questions ii) one or more questions to be developed.
 
 
Otherwise, the examination will be conducted by ecampus and will consist of QCM and QROC.
