Adaptation of teaching commitments following the COVID-19 pandemic for the May-June 2020 session

Teaching methods implemented : distance-learning

Teaching method : Written preparation at home of the translation sent by e-mail in the first instance. Correction of the translation starting from the teacher's translation received by e-mail in a second step. Questions asked by students to the teacher by e-mail. Synthesis of the questions and the answers given to them via myuliège.

Assessment subjects

The various texts discussed throughout the year introducing various general themes will serve as the basis for the professor's search for a source text for the May-June evaluation. This source text will have to be translated from German into French by the students.

Assessment methods

The document to be translated for the exam will be sent to the students by e-mail via myuliège. Once the students have acknowledged receipt of this document, they will have two hours to carry out their exam remotely with any type of reference work (German-French/French-German translating dictionary, German and/or French explanatory dictionary, dictionary of synonyms, etc.). After the examination, students should send their translation directly to the teacher by e-mail.
