Introduction to cross-sectional analysis of gender

historical, theoritical, practical and methodological aspects will be presented
we 'll illustrate how every sphere of life (family, work, security of life, leisure, sports, identity, rights, politics, faiths, behaviours....) is concerned by gender and the recent evolutions will be discussed

to make students aware of hierarchisation mechanisms based on gender, of their evolution, and of the necessity of developping a gender approach in their evaluation/comprehension of social word and scientific topics

You are supposed to make links betwwen  the differents courses; to explain what gender means (simple and more complex/complete definition)
Read again the documents related to the crisis of coronavirus we used to discuss  the utility of gender glasses in this debate.

Oral exam via lifesize. If problems, contact me.
8 points/20  concern an oral presentation. Students have to chose one social topic and two scientific articles related  to this issue . The aim is to discuss the relevance of the gender approach .  The references of the papers will be shared in the group
12 points/20  concern the evaluation of the responses given to questions concerning  the course subject matter
 
* students in anthropology prepare a collective presentation planned on line on may 6th and rated separately

two parts in this evaluation
- the first ( 8/20) concerns a collective thematic presentation of the students in anthropology ((mai 6th on line)
- the second part (12/20) is a classical examination but on line. You'll answer to the questions  concerning the course  and concerning the two articles you 've chosen to read
one student every 45 minutes on lifesize.
