Learning unit contents

This course aims to deal with the subject of clinical interventions involving children. So, students have to work in team and then to present the work they do with children in institutions (during their internship). Professionals are invited to discuss these presentations.

Learning outcomes of the learning unit

The objective of the course is to encourage students to think about the impact of institutions on child development. 

Prerequisite knowledge and skills

In order to attend this course, students must have done at least one placement in a children's institution. 

Planned learning activities and teaching methods

The course will be organized in such a way as to call upon as many professionals as possible who work on the issues raised in class.

Assessment methods and criteria

The assessment consists of
- a group presentation concerning the organisation of an institution, especially one that cares for children.
- a personal work about a question raising during the lessons.
