Learning unit contents
Using reference materials and clinical illustrations, this course focusses on child development and studies various theoretical concepts in developmental psychology. It then covers the main areas of child development (motor, cognitive and social).
Learning outcomes of the learning unit
The objective of this course is to provide students with the knowledge necessary to understand child development.

Each chapter presented in class includes bibliographical references.
Assessment methods and criteria
The exam is in two parts
- A multiple-choice questionnaire (-0.5 points for a wrong answer, 0 for no answer), worth 75%.
- A fill-in-the-blanks text (0 points for wrong answers and no answers) worth 25%.
