Learning unit contents

Introduction to work & organizational psychology with basic concepts, methods and some actual research topics. Among them : motivation, competence, selection & recruitment, work conditions, organizationnal justice, stress at work, burnout and age management.

Bring the students to develop a scientific process in the study of the relations between man and work.
Introduce the fields of practices of Human Resource Development and Ergonomics

Adaptation of teaching commitments following the COVID-19 pandemic for the May-June 2020 session

Students have to watch podcasts available as a complement to the slides and syllabus

This 5 ECTS course normally implies a thematic dossier besides the course, for students for whom the course is equivalent to 3 ECTS.
Regarding the 2 ECTS related to the thematic dossier, it is asked to realize a written assignment in 2 or 3 pages maximum (Time New Roman, size 11, between 1500 and 2500 words approximately), that does not require the thematic reading dossier as planned in the pedagogical engagement but a personal reflection about the sanitary crisis we are living, by doing links the different course chapters.
The detailed guidelines have been sent by email and are available on the portal.

All the Power Point presentations (slides), such that each question asked in the exam has its answer (s) on one or more slides of the course. The student must however ensure that he understands the content of the slide and if necessary should refer to the oral course or to the available written notes.
The course of the 07/05 about old workers is available for information, but students won't be evaluated on this chapter.
