Adaptation of teaching commitments following the COVID-19 pandemic for the May-June 2020 session
Teaching methods implemented : distance-learning
The course sessions have been adapted to be followed online. Students receive instructions on how to connect to the virtual classroom and/or resources to discover the subject content a few days before the session (via an announcement on eCampus which is automatically sent by email).
- When it is a live virtual class, it takes place at the same time as the course (Wednesday between 14h-17h), but is reduced to a maximum of 2 hours.
- In the case of resources to be discovered, students can read about them and do the accompanying exercises whenever they wish. They can contact the supervisors by e-mail in case of problems.
Assessment subjects
Work n°1 - Media Reading
No change
Work n°2 - EAM Activity
The instructions have been modified (see "Travaux" on eCampus).
The created activity must develop two media skills (instead of one initially), but it should no longer be tested with students. The "reflexive feedback" section on the activity is removed, only an analysis of the developed skills must be proposed. The date of delivery of a first draft is post-posted.
Work n°3 - Analysis of a case (legal aspects of the use of digital technology in teaching)
No change
Assessment methods
Work n°1 - Media Reading
The work was to be presented during a class session. Half of the students were able to do so (before Covid19 ). For the other students, the presentation will take place online in a virtual classroom (Blackboard Collaborate) during the last class session (29/4) from about 2 to 4 pm.
Work n°2 - EAM Activity
The work will be uploaded on eCampus (document + slideshow) and the student will present his work online via a virtual classroom (Blackboard Collaborate). In order to avoid the discomfort of too long distance presentations, several oral sessions of 1h45 maximum (= 3 different presentations) will be proposed . Students are required to attend the entire session in which they are presenting. If they wish, they can participate in the others as well. The dates of the sessions will be proposed to the students at the end of April to share the agenda.
Work n°3 - Case analysis
No change. The evaluation consists in the submission of a work on eCampus.
