Learning unit contents
Qualitative research can not be learned through words. Instead, novices should practice. This practical work thus consists in conducting a whole qualitative research from start to end: designing a research question, conducting interviews, analyzing transcripts and delivering results.
Learning outcomes of the learning unit
The student will be able to:
- write up a qualitative research question,
- conduct an interview,
- actively participate to a collective analysis of text material,
- summarize results from a collective research,
- create efficient slides,
- speak in public.

Practical work consists in realizing a qualitative research (elaborating a research question, conducting and analysis of an interview).

Assessment methods and criteria
- Diary (collective) Each team helds a diary troughout the practical work.
- Presentation (collective)
The written examination, the logbook and the presentation are each worth 33 % of the global note. The diary worths 2/3 of the global mark; the presentation worths 1/3.

- Pratical sessions are maintained and organized through online class rooms; the teaching assistant vistis the team classroom during each session.
