Students have to read and work on: 
- Adalbert von Chamisso: Peter Schlemihls wundersame Geschichte (Reclam-Ausgabe)
- Heinrich Heine: Deutschland. Ein Wintermärchen (Reclam-Ausgabe)
- Franz Kafka: Rede über den Jargon (auf ecampus)
- Klaus Mann: Das Sprachproblem ( auf ecmapus)

Mode of delivery (face-to-face ; distance-learning)

Zwei Semesterwochenstunden im Sommersemester. Donnerstags von 11 bis 13 Uhr.

Schriftliche Aufgabe im Laufe des Semesters (Hausarbeit): 20%
Schriftliche und mündliche Prüfungen im Juni: jeweils 40% der Gesamtnote.

Adaptation of teaching commitments following the COVID-19 pandemic for the May-June 2020 session

Teaching methods implemented : distance-learning

One week: PowerPoint with audios (on ecampus)
One week: life sessions on the platforme lifesize. (codes have been sent via email).
The adapted schedule has been sent via email.
In addition: possibility to discuss different topics in relation with the cours with your collegues, under my moderation.

Assessment subjects

We will not discuss the text of Chamisso.
All the other texts can be part of the written exam.
 

Assessment methods

1. paper during the semester on one text discussed in class. (topic has to be discussed with me before you are starting writing): 50%
The paper has to be handed in on ecampus (upload to the folder "Hausarbeit") after spring holidays.
2. written test (online): 50%
