Learning unit contents
Spanish course for beginners. Students will learn the Spanish language through the study of thematic units and will practice the four main language skills (writing, reading, speaking and listening). Grammatical structures will be introduced progressively. Students are expected to do the exercises at home.
CECR Levels:
- Listening : A2+/B1
- Reading: A2+/B1
- Speaking : A2+
- Writing : A2+
Learning outcomes of the learning unit
- All four language skills (reading, listening, writing and speaking) are developed
- Acquisition of general vocabulary
- Acquisition of basic grammatical structures through grammar drills and other exercises.
- Introduction to various aspects of Spanish and Latin America cultures and civilizations with the aim of improving students' intercultural skills.
We'll also have a short introduction to Spanish history.

Planned learning activities and teaching methods
Students have to prepare at home some listening comprehensions that are part of the written exam.
Mode of delivery (face-to-face ; distance-learning)
2h a week during the whole year. Thorough preparation is required so as to enable students to progress regularly.

Assessment methods and criteria
A mid-term exam will be organized in January with a bonus of 10% if you pass, no consequences of you fail.

MODALITES : l'examen d'espagnol comportera deux parties
- Un travail écrit à rendre au plus tard le jour de l'examen via l'onglet DEVOIRS de ecampus. PAS DE TRAVAUX PAR MAIL !!!
- Un examen oral via zoom (15 minutes par étudiant)
Escribir una autobiografía que integre todos los temas tratados en clase (temas de vocabulario + gramática)

ATTENTION : Il s'agit d'un travail personnel, ne vous faites pas aider, n'allez pas voir tous les mots au dictionnaire, écrivez selon votre niveau. Si une aide extérieure est trop visible, j'en tiendrai compte dans la note finale.
Consignes pour l'examen oral
L'examen se déroulera en deux temps :
- 2-3 minutes de présentation d'un événement ou d'un personnage de l'histoire espagnole. (25% de la note finale)
- Séance de questions-réponses sur tous les sujets traités en classe (petites questions courtes, vous devez répondre avec des verbes conjugués) (50 % de la note finale)
REPARTITION DES POINTS
Travail écrit : 25%
Présentation historique : 25%
Examen oral : 50 %
