Learning unit contents
The course is made up of 3 different parts:
1/ Weekly speaking activities
2/ Master's Thesis Interview (presentation & interaction)
3/ Online learning modules
Learning outcomes of the learning unit
At the end of the course, the student will reach the Level B2+ of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages within his or her field of specialty, as well as the level C1 for oral presentation skills.
This course develops and assesses (certificative assessment) the competence 4.3.4 "Présenter en anglais un sujet complexe dans des termes adaptés au public visé."
Prerequisite knowledge and skills
The student has to have a B2+ level (cf. CEFR) before starting the course.
Planned learning activities and teaching methods
Weekly speaking activities Master's Thesis Interview (incl. online test)
+Online modules including theory and exercises
+Coaching session by student assistants (in case of budgetary availability) aiming at preparing the students for their Master's Thesis presentation and an efficient powerpoint.
Mode of delivery (face-to-face ; distance-learning)
Weekly speaking: 1hour/week/1 semester

Master's Thesis interview: 50%
Exemptions, even partial, will not be granted.

A student who leaves for one term/semester/year has to contact the English teachers before leaving.
A precise description of the course organization and contents as well as the evaluation criteria (Introductory Document + English Portfolio) has been made available for the students on eCampus.

- Le contenu du TFE de l'étudiant
Assessment methods
- L'étudiant recevra un lien Collaborate sur lequel il devra cliquer. Ce lien sera posté en temps et en heure.
- Il sera renvoyé automatiquement à une salle principale (la salle d'attente comme s'il attendait devant la porte du bureau des professeurs)
- L'étudiant sera transféré par le professeur de la salle principale à la salle où il passera son examen
- L'étudiant présente son TFE (4 minutes), en projetant son PPT aux professeurs
- L'étudiant répond aux questions posées par rapport à son TFE (4 minutes)

- En cas de perte de connexion pendant un oral sur Collaborate, veuillez-vous reconnecter sans tarder et attendre dans la salle commune que votre enseignant puisse venir vous y rechercher. Vous pouvez également prévenir de votre "retour" via l'outil tchat de Collaborate
