Learning unit contents
This course aims to present the basics of HR reporting and analytics. The following topics are covered: (1) General introduction to HR reporting and analytics, (2) Strategic human resources management, (3) Human resources reporting and metrics, (4) Data sience and HR analytics, ( 5) HR analytics roadmap.
Learning outcomes of the learning unit
This course aims to meet the following objectives:
- Raise awareness about of the strategic issues of data in the context of human resources.
- Understand what HR reporting, HR metrics and HR analytics are.
- Understand what are the main applications of HR reporting and analytics
- Understand and be able to apply a structured methodology in order to use data to optimize human resources decisions.

Planned learning activities and teaching methods
Teaching methods are essentially based on presentations illustrated with applied examples, teacher-student interactions and case studies. The course notes (powerpoint slides) are available on myulg.
Mode of delivery (face-to-face ; distance-learning)
Teaching takes place face to face.
