Learning unit contents

The ambition of this course is to promote a learning pedagogy focus on the "do it by yourself" through exchanges and interactions between the learner and the trainer.
The objective of the course is to make learners aware of topics related to entrepreneurship and to support them in the early stages of identifying an entrepreneurial project.
This course does not have the ambition to make you become entrepreneurs, but rather to approach a vision of management and "entrepreneurial skills" as well as to approach the various stages of the creation of a project in the posture of an entrepreneur.
The course will be divided between theoretical sessions, testimonials from entrepreneurs and coaching sessions. 

Learning outcomes of the learning unit

The Intended Learning Outcomes: 
- Understand, in management situations, the transversal tools of quantitative reasoning, information systems and project management methods
- Faced with a management problem, suggest solutions that are ethical and socially responsible and that respect the principles of good governance
- Be capable of team work

- Be able of a profesionnal oral communication
- Be able of a profesionnal written communication
- New ideas: generation and evaluation. Identification of new business opportunities.

Planned learning activities and teaching methods

The final result of this course is the creation of an operational business plan for the setting up of an entrepreneurial project.

Mode of delivery (face-to-face ; distance-learning)

The course will be divided between theoretical sessions, testimonials from entrepreneurs, business cases study and coaching sessions for the development of an entrepreneurial project.

Assessment methods and criteria

The evaluation of the entrepreneurship course is divided into three parts:
- Group work: the realization of a business plan
- An individual report: a case study of a starter entrepreneur
- An evaluation of the participation in class.

This course is designed to be a challenging and time-consuming experiment.

Class attendance is critical.

  • REDACTION OF A BUSINESS CASES
