These activities consist in fieldwork, in various areas in which the graduates in physical education may find a job.
Learning outcomes of the learning unit
Theses activities allow students to grow with a second experience and to exploit theoretical knowledge in a concrete context.

Prerequisite knowledge and skills
Students have to exploit the knowledge and competencies that they acquired since the beginning of their programm, in order to anchor their intervention on an theoretical support allowing them to increase their effectiveness. Personal experience of each student could be a positive aspect.
Moreover, this second period of intership should be linkeed to the first one (BSM 3).

Activity on the field with individualized follow-up.
Mode of delivery (face-to-face ; distance-learning)
All information is provided during the first lesson of the practical sports courses. These information represent the real basis of the activity description.

Assessment methods and criteria
Referent people are invited to provide an assessment about the quality of the work of the student. Supervisors are also visiting the activities and the reports prepared by the students are analysed.

Adaptation of teaching commitments following the COVID-19 pandemic for the May-June 2020 session

Assessment subjects
The hours of internship not completed at the time of confinement are replaced by one of the following possibilities. The number of hours of involvement in one of the following projects replaces the number of hours of internship. A written report must be submitted, in accordance with the document posted on My Uliège.
- Online training related to training (Mooc, federal training in
basketball, personal trainer ...);
- Reading, summary and analysis of a book related to technicotactic training
or physical preparation (book on physical preparation,
technical / tactical development in a sport, mental preparation,
leadership of the coach, nutrition of the athlete, female sport ...);
- Viewing, summary and analysis of a DVD devoted to technicotactic training
or physical preparation;
- Realization of a personal work on technical-tactical or physical training
in a specific context (creation of an educational document based on the
literature and information available on the internet);
- Production of capsules on training (technical or physical) to be carried out
homemade and broadcast on the net (Facebook, Youtube, etc.);
- Valuation of experience (taking charge of a group in sports training,
technical-tactical or physical, with document describing the sessions (preparations)
and proof of their investment (certificate));
- We are open to other alternative work offers related to training
technical-tactical or physical and which can justify a sufficient number of hours.
Assessment methods
The evaluation of the substitution work reports will be carried out according to a method comparable to that used in the evaluation of the normal internship reports. The grid will only be adapted when the context of the substitute work requires it.
