Learning unit contents

1. The student will be invited to discover different approaches to high level training from book chapters, but also the concept of long-term development and sports specialization.
2. The student will be asked to carry out a synthesis work on the analysis of the factors of the performance around an athlete and / or a sports structure (2 cases). Ideally, meet and interview the main actors who intervene with the athlete or the group as well as the athletes (technical-tactical coach, physical trainer, athlete, other?) On the 6 factors of the performance. (Structured / semi-structured interview, to be validated).
3. The content of the interviews will be done in agreement with the course owner. Presentation of the results will then be written as a written document with the following structure: ¿ Introduction (1-2 pages) ¿ Methodology (3 to 5 pages) ¿ Results (5-10 pages) (organization chart, structure, SWOT analysis) ¿ Conclusion (1-2 pages) ¿ Bibliography ¿ Appendices

The objective of the course "Theory of high-level training" is to deepen the knowledge of training methods used at a high level.
