Part 1

As an introduction course to criminal law, this course situates criminal law in the historical, social and juridical sphere.

Part 2

As an introduction course to criminal law, this course situates criminal law in the historical, social and juridical sphere.

Learning outcomes of the learning unit

Part 1

Following themes are dealt with : - the historical development of criminal law and its philosophy ; - the sources of criminal law ; - the basic principles of criminal law ; - the application of criminal law in time, space and towards the person ; - the crime : the constitutive elements, the classification ; - the punishable attempt and the punishable participation ; - the punishment. - the importance of criminological sciences through several specific topics (economic criminal law, terrorism, victimology, etc.).

Part 2
