Learning unit contents
All occupations by criminologist are linked to ethic and deontology. Different professionnals from some criminological fields present the ethical implications of their interventions (lawyer, magistrate, probation officer, prison, doctor, police officer ... Things in common are identified and discussed
Learning outcomes of the learning unit
The objective is to give some points of reference to the criminologist in terms of professsionnal ethics

Symbolically, ethic is central in the studies

Different experts take part in teaching.
Mode of delivery (face-to-face ; distance-learning)
The course take place at the first semester; Lectures are given also by different experts (magistrate, lawyer, doctor, criminologist, police officer ...
Recommended or required readings
Different references and notes are given by each contributor and collected in a text kit
Assessment methods and criteria
Oral examination; students are distribute among little groups and evaluated by a jury composed by the different contributors
