Adaptation of teaching commitments following the COVID-19 pandemic for the May-June 2020 session
Teaching methods implemented : distance-learning
Before confinement: powerpoint presentation given in class, structured in theory/examples (videos, visuals, texts, articles ...) /exercise. Three exercises (individual or group) are planned on average per week, most often corrected during the course to encourage exchange of experience and interactivity.
After confinement: making available the presentation, the video recording of the course and the various examples (videos, visuals, texts, articles ...). The exercises are carried out remotely, according to the same terms, sent by email and corrected by email return. A skype has been organized to upgrade Erasmus returning students. Students can ask questions by email or skype if needed.
All the material was seen, the exercises carried out and a maximum of interactivity assured.
Assessment subjects
The whole course, as originally planned.
Assessment methods
The evaluation is planned in two stages.
Before containment:
Students must carry out work covering the entire course subject. They submit a subject to the teacher's validation. They must then carry out a complete public relations strategy, with the communication media provided in their strategy (communicated, videos ...).
The oral exam takes the form of a role-playing game. The student is a public relations agency and the teacher is his client. The student must present his public relations strategy to his client in 20-30 minutes. The teacher then asks questions about the proposed work in 15-20 minutes.
After containment:
The review will remain unchanged. The oral part will however take place by skype, which is a very good exercise in the conditions of reality, quite adequate for a practical course. An explanatory note will be sent to students on time to help them use skype and limit unnecessary stress.
