Learning unit contents

An introduction to oceanography. This course is divided into 2 parts:
Part 1 A theoretical approach:
Definitions, the History of Oceanography and its place at the Uliège
A little physics, chemistry, geology, law, economics, biology to understand how the oceans are functioning, their importance and influence on our daily lives.
Part 2 A practical Approach:
Concrete examples of studies and research carried out throughout the world in various ecosystems to understand the oceans and the climatic and/or antrhopic impacts.
