Learning unit contents
The various activities constituting this course aim to accompany the construction of your professional project. This course will help you not only reflect about your professional project, but also build it. In particular, it will enable you to:
- Enlarge the range of professional realities relating to psychology/pedagogy;
- Continue a reflection on the links between lectures and future professional practice;
- Meet, create connections and work with other students;
- Reflect on the place of psychology / pedagogy in society.
Learning outcomes of the learning unit
The planned learning activities will allow students to: a) Build a picture of the scope and roles concerning the profession of psychologist (C3) b) Identify the principles and usefulness of a reflective approach (C4) c) Recognise the stakes and societal effects of the psychologist's role (C4) d) Select, synthesise and structure information (C5) e) Express information in a correct and relevant language with regard to the target audience (C5) f) Present content according to the standards in force (C5)
Prerequisite knowledge and skills
Planned learning activities and teaching methods
Several activities will be organised:
- Group project aimed at (1) gaining further knowledge about the targeted professional field and (2) introducing your fellow students to this professional field
- Project-related seminars (classes)
- Meeting with a psychologist/teacher
- The group will make a short video to present their project
Mode of delivery (face-to-face ; distance-learning)
Blended mode, with face-to-face sessions as well as a web space allowing for group work, visit preparation and discussion forums.

Assessment methods and criteria
The assessment will be based on three aspects:
- Compulsory active participation in the group project and in the related seminars
- The video presenting the group's project
- An individual reflective report based on the group project and viewing of two videos (two/three pages maximum)
