Learning outcomes of the learning unit
At the end of the course, the student should be able to propose an interpretive reading of texts of the corpus, and to establish relations between them and their historical, social and aesthetic-ideological context.
Prerequisite knowledge and skills
Good command of Spanish (written and oral comprehension, written and oral production).
Planned learning activities and teaching methods
In addition to the ex-cathedra presentations, the planned learning activities are: home reading of corpus texts; classroom analysis of these texts; reading and class discussion of critical texts; and viewing and class discussion of documentaries and interviews.

Assessment methods and criteria
The weight of different evaluation items on the final mark is as follows: 25% for participation in class discussions and the writing of an essay or a report (1200 words); 75% for the written examination scheduled for the end of the semester. The evaluation criteria are: i) relevance of responses; (ii) conceptual precision; (iii) clarity of drafting.

Organizational remarks
In addition to the two weekly hours of classes, there will be schedules for individual tutoring. Hours of service: Friday, from 16:00 to 18:00.
