The course focuses on possible problems of interference between French and Spanish for Francophone students. The contrastive study of the modalities of the utterance and the message, special cases such as the use of the verbs ser and estar, the gerundio, the subjuntivo, the personalisación and the impersonalización, as well as a typology of lexical interferences between the two languages, are among the subjects to be tackled during the quadrimester.

Learning outcomes of the learning unit

The aim of the course is to enable the student to identify and avoid the main interferences at the morphosyntactic and lexical level between French and Spanish.
