Learning unit contents
This course gives through a synthetic approach of the aquaculture production. It is dived in 3 chapters:
- Introduction: aquaculture status
- Production cycle : (1) reproduction, larval rearing and genetic improvement; (2) nutrition and growth; (3) rearing systems.
- Molluscs and crustaceans aquaculture
Learning outcomes of the learning unit
The student has the bases necessary for the comprehension of the aquaculture problematic.

Biology and chemistry, cellular biology, animal physiology
Planned learning activities and teaching methods
The courses (theoretical and interactive discsussion) is assumed by 2 teachers. Training consist in the manipulation of fish.
Mode of delivery (face-to-face ; distance-learning)
Face-to-face teaching. First four-monthly period, schedule establishes by the professor in accordance with the students. Practical are established by the professor and made with the group of the students of the Advanced master GeRAA (ULg) Lectures and practicals given at the CEFRA

The examination is a redaction of a report relative to the developement of the aquaculture
