Learning unit contents

After presenting the reflective process to develop when considering any form of training, the course rpésentera how to adapt the various components of the drive to different contexts: - Drive chains.. - Training of speed. - Strength training. - Training of flexibility.
The course continues by mentioning the specifics of the main driving situations and presenting concrete examples of training: - The characteristics of athletic sports. - The characteristics of aquatic sports. - The peculiarities of sports. - The characteristics of the gymnastic sports. - The peculiarities of sports cyclists. - The peculiarities of combat sports. - The characteristics of the training school. - The characteristics of the fitness environment.

Learning outcomes of the learning unit

The aim of the course "Conceptualization" is to integrate training concepts, evaluation and planning developed in the 2 BSM to apply them in different training contexts.
It will focus initially on the analytical approach of the training context. The focus will be on: - The population concerned. - The characteristics of the sport. - The traditional methods of training. - The existing means. - The set reasonable goals. - The constraints of context.
From the various elements highlighted, a reflexive approach will be used to determine how to construct types sessions and an intelligent programming.

Planned learning activities and teaching methods

The course will explore the different facets of training. The reflexive approach exposed during the course and stimulated during exercises should enable students to consider the physical training in any sporting context.

Assessment methods and criteria

The theoretical examn is divided into two sessions. The first part is a written test comprising a series of open questions. The answers require a mixture of sports knowledge and reflection. The second part takes place a day or two later and consists in an oral examination. Students have the opportunity to improve their rating. It does not fluctuate more than two points from the written note. Written questions are asked and addressed by teachers who provided the course. At oral, only the course' holder is present and asks the students.
Students have the opportunity to consult their copies during the following week of deliberation.
