Learning unit contents
The course content is as follows:
(1) The factors of athletic performance.
(2) The energy systems.
(3) Evaluation of physical abilities.
(4) Training energy industries.
(5) Base fitness.
(6) Basis of bodybuilding.
(7) Strengthening muscle adapted.
(8) Techniques psychorégulation.
(9) Electrostimulation and sport.
(10) The bases of doping.
(11) The basis for planning.
Specific contributions to physiotherapy students will be directed to the reconditioning cardiovascular and muscular with special populations.
Recommendations in terms of physical activity should be restored.
Three aspects will be specifically addressed:
(1) The rules for considering cardiovascular reconditioning.
(2) The rules for considering a muscle reconditioning.
(3) The main exercises and methods used in these two contexts
Learning outcomes of the learning unit
The objective of the course is to present the main components of physical fitness and to introduce the main method to evaluate and train.
This course will focus on some concepts that drive future physiotherapists could meet in their profession: the basics of working fitness, muscle building adapted (general muscle building ,general fitness for seniors, casing, abs, muscle building analytical, ...)
(1) The main principles, goals and demands of sports training (2h).
(2) Developing the process of producing alactic anaerobic, lactic aerobic and aerobic energy. For each system we will define the original characteristics of the exercise, the training methods used as well as the terminology most currently used (4h).
(3) An athlete's physical training (4h):
- developing strength (isometric, isotonic, iso-kinetic; plyometrics);
- gaining speed (body movement reactions);
- suppleness (active + passive);
-endurance (organic and muscular).
(4) Drugs and sport (2h)
(5) General and specific body conditioning (2h)
