Learning outcomes of the learning unit
The first scope of the lectures is to introduce the theoretical and practical bases of the molecular gentic and biology. The second sope will be to improve the student knowledge in advanced biochemistry. The major aim of the course will be to help students for the comprehension of other lectures of the master in ecology and biology of the organism and for the master in biochemistry, molecular and cellular biology.
Prerequisite knowledge and skills
Introduction to genetic ("bachelier" in biological sciences).
Planned learning activities and teaching methods
The pratical courses consist in problem-based learning activities concerning molecular genetics.
Mode of delivery (face-to-face ; distance-learning)
Lectures organised on Mondays and some Wednesdays (10:30-12:30) of weeks 6 - 14 of first semester.
Practival courses: Wednesdays morning of weeks 11 to 13.

Assessment methods and criteria
Tests during practical courses: 25% of final score.
Written examination on theory and exercices: 75% of final score.
August - September exams: only written examination.
