Reflexive practical work

The reflexive workshops are strongly linked with experiences in the classroom.

Extra-scholar teaching activities

It is 10 hours of observation or of teaching out of the classic context of the classroom.

Learning outcomes of the learning unit

Teaching placements

- To conceive learning tools and methods suitable for students in professionnal classrooms.
- To build with the studens a good relationship suitable for the learning.
- To conceive a sommative evaluation.

Reflexive practical work

- To make a critical analysis of the observed and teached lessons by the students, in order to enlarge their vision of the geography and of the geography didactics. - To design for each student some ways to improve his/her teaching practice and some points to study deeply for his/her own learning.

The courses and workshops are designed to prepare students to diversify their ways of teaching.

The student have to prepare workshops for adults in the context of pedagogical conferences about climate changes.

Assessment methods and criteria

Training evaluation : - Exercices made during the workshops : feedback (sometimes a note) by the pairs and by the teachers; - Teaching practices 3 in march-april : report by the secondary teacher and by the professor of geographical didactic; - Training notebook : free individual feedbacks.

A report into the port-folio (brief description and analysis of the followed activity).
