An overview of translation history from the origins to the 20th century.

Allow the students to understand translation challenges throughout history.

Ex-cathedra lessons and note-taking. Presentation of the history of translation from the age of Antiquity to the 21rst century.
Mode of delivery (face-to-face ; distance-learning) :
One hour a week face-to-face sessions during one semester.
