Partim C. Hellemans: protective behavior facing bullying at work.
The course aims to understand and develop a critical view about inhibitors and facilitators of behavioral intervention for others facing a difficult situation. We take into account the organizational constraints in our critical view. Various models will be presented: Coping model, theory of planned behavior, Darley & Latane (1968) model, Thornberg et al. (2012)model,  Bowes-Sperry & O'Leary-Kelly (2005) model. The concepts of attribution of responsibility and moral courage will also be discussed.

This course focus on the notion of professional recognition. After having given comprehensive definition of the notion, we will highlight the association between the lack of professional recognition and workers' health and well-being. Available literature on this subject as well as our own scientific production will be at the basis of the course. The focus on our research will permit to illustrate the research process that consists in 1) theoretically analysing à concept, 2) producing ad hoc indicators and measures tools, 3) collecting data, and 4) analysing them.
