| The following topics will be addressed:
- experimental design
- experimental vs control groups, matching groups - procedures to be followed in experimental studies - operationalizing the hypotheses - experimental, quasi experimental and ex post facto studies. |

| The course aims at the acquisition of the basics of an experimental approach in education: what is experimental approach, why such an approach, strengthes and weaknesses. | |||||

| 10 h of theory, but based on numerous examples.
After the first session, homeworks will be assigned; they will be corrected during the third and last session. |
