Course contents :
This seminar allows students to get more familiar with research in linguistics. Recently issued papers, as well as must-read books sections are chosen each year for their methodological value. Every students read the entire selection. Each text is then studied by a small group students who introduce it to the others with a presentation.
Then, each student writes an individual extension of the collective work. Mandatory reading: R. Martin, Comprendre la linguistique, Paris, PUF, 2002 (2005).
Learning outcomes of the course :
At the end, student will have shown that he understood all the texts of the seminar and that he is able to analyse scientific contributions.

Anterior linguistics class.

- the collection of articles, which will be pointed out during the first class.

Work of the year, seminar; Oral examination on the anthology and on the obligatory reading. Individual written work.
