Learning outcomes of the course :

| At the end of the course, the student will be able to:
- Define with appropriate terms the main economic concepts ; - Understand and explain behaviors and fundamental mechanisms on the level of individual agents (firms, consumers) and markets ; - Represent graphically the relations between economic variables ; - Explain with a graph the impact of the variation of an economic variable on another (comparative statics) ; - Synthesize various texts (articles from economic journals or press) in order to complete the oral class ; - Interpret current statistics ; - Calculate, through simple numerical exercises, economic variables using theoretical models and formulas studied in the class. |
