- Short introduction to search documentation - Methodological modules: the bases of quantitative and qualitative approaches in education - How to write your master dissertation? - Presentation of examples of master dissertations
Learning outcomes of the course :  
The seminar aims at teaching students knowledge and methods useful for their master dissertation
Prerequisites and co-requisites/ Recommended optional programme components :  
Students have to attend seminars about master dissertations organized by the service Guidance Etudes and ISLV
Planned learning activities and teaching methods :  
Two seminars are organized during the first term aimed at presenting the paradigms, methods and domains of research in educational sciences. The supervisors suggest list of subjects; students can also suggest a topic of their own. In depth seminars may be given by some supervisors during term 2, depending on the research approach, other will meet students on an individual basis.
