Course contents :  
This course prolonges the course "Exercices de traduction du néerlandais vers le français I (culture)".
It places a strong emphasis on the practical aspects of translation. It covers a large variety of themes and text types from the cultural domain. It also offers an introduction to audiovisual translation.
Learning outcomes of the course :  
By the end of the course, the students will have improved their translation strategies from Dutch to French and with regards to different kinds of texts (from the cultural domain) as well linguistic registers.
Prerequisites and co-requisites/ Recommended optional programme components :  
Very good knowledge of Dutch and excellent knowledge of French.
It is also strongly recommanded to take the class "Exercices de traduction du néerlandais vers le français I: culture" before attending this course.

Translation and revision exercises, critical study of existing translations
