Translation exercises. Comparative study of original documents and their translation.
Learning outcomes of the course :  
Students should be able to:
- identify problematic segments, - analyse them, - find solutions to translate them, - justify their choices.
Prerequisites and co-requisites/ Recommended optional programme components :  
Proficiency in English and mastery of French. General translation skills.
Planned learning activities and teaching methods :  
Preparation of translations (at home) and critical correction including an analysis of the specificities depending on the type of documents used.
Mode of delivery (face-to-face ; distance-learning) :  
Weekly sessions (1h30) except during the internship period.
Recommended or required readings :  
Lists of recommended books will be given in class.
Assessment methods and criteria :  
Periodic evaluation work : 40%
Final exam (June) : 60%
