Course contents :

| We will begin by defining the specificity and the field of pragmatics in relation to linguistics and its related areas of study and research.
We will take a look, in succession, at different types of pragmatics, whether this is in the framework of the philosophy of language, cognitive linguistics, or the linguistics of enunciation.
Finally we shall propose pathways for reflection upon the resources offered by pragmatics in order to analyse various situations of communication. |
