Course contents :  Introduction: What is cognitive neuropsychology? - Premises and methods of cognitive neuropsychology - Visual agnosia - Neglect - Working memory - Long-term memory - Written language - Frontal lobes: cognitive and emotional disturbances - Neuropsychology and brain imagery
Course objective :  Introduction to the methods and foundations of cognitive neuropsychology, relying notably on single case analyses in varied domains of pathology (memory, written language, object recognition, executive functions, etc.).
Prerequisites :  None
Workshops :  None
Organization :  Second semester of the second year of bachelor's degree in Psychology and Education - 2 hours per week (30 hours altogether)
Written notes :  Syllabus + some book chapters whose references will be given to the students during the lessons.
Assessment :  Written examination with both multiple-choice and open-ended questions.
