| Course contents : | The course marks out the context of exercise of the trade of teacher in the French Community of Belgium: organization, legal framework of operation, context, educational policies and room for maneuver. |
 |
| Course objective : | To allow the future professionals of the educational field (in particular trainers of teachers and actors in authorities of piloting of the system) of:
- To take note of the educational policies and the current organization of the education system in the French Community of Belgium.
- Thanks to the analysis of the constraints and the texts of reference, to better identify spaces of freedom and of action of the teachers to alert them on the part which they could play in the system.
- To understand in-depth the mechanisms which are with work in an operation of the school system and which influence its effectiveness and its equity. The elements of the past close in relation to the evolution to the context sociétal contribute to this comprehension. |

| Prerequisites : | For the first course, each student will have to get the Decree-missions and the "Contract for the school". |

| Workshops : | The students will be invited to seek, take note and to work in groups of the texts, reference documents, reactions of the public to new legal tendencies... |
 |
| Organization : | The developments of the theoretical course will be anchored on preliminary knowledge of the students. |
 |

| Assessment : | Examination written in two parts:
- A part with closed book (questions with short answers and false truth/).
- A part with open book (questions with long open answers). |
