| Course contents : | Elements of theoretical statistics - descriptive statistics - probability distributions - principles of statistical inference
Regression and modelling - simple linear regression - linear modelling - relation between model and experimental design
Design of experiments - experimental cycle - catalogue of experimental designs - fractional design; designs for mixture factor
Control charts - for variables - for attributes |
 |
| Course objective : | To master some theoretical and practical principles in experimental design and statistical process control. After completing the course the student is expected to - be able to summarie data, - correctly interpret the results of usual statistical inference - design and analyse correctly usual experimental designs, - be able to implement Shewhart control charts. |
