Course objective :  This course aims to help develop in future high school teachers the following competences to be demonstrated in educational or school situations, concerning learning psychology.

These (4) competencies can be expressed as follows :
By knowledge and comprehension of concepts, of technical terms, of issues and of educational implications related to the AMASCIDR domains (Adolescence, Memorization, Attitudes, Skills, Cognition, Self Image, Decision and Relations), the student will be able to

  • analyse existing educational situations (cases);
  • share these analysed cases by communicating with others (community of practice);
  • understand texts (including scientific literature) in AMASCIDR domains applied to learning and teaching;
  • conceive, on the basis of a new understanding, improvements and innovations in one's own courses.

  • Presential course, in 6 periods (duration : 2:30 hours each) starting november 12, 2007, at 18:00 (up to 20:30).

  • ask their questions and send suggestions and remarks;
  • live (optional) activities in e-learning;
  • read practical information related to the course.
