Course contents : - Personnel selection in organizations
- Appraisal interview
- Competencies management
- Test in personnel selection - Assessment centers
Course objective : - To know the current practices of Human Resources in organizations: personnel selection, assessment centres, tools for selection, appraisal interview, competencies management, high potential management, etc.
- To train the students to like criticizing for the existing tools for selection
- To have contacts with real world as far as HR practices in firms are concerned (through practical work)
Prerequisites : Developing Human Resources (1) (L435)
Workshops : Collective or individual practical work.Examples: creation of an exercise that can be included in an assessment centre (with behavioural anchoring rating scale), criticism of a questionnaire used by an organization in developing human resources, etc.
Written notes : Written notes and a list of references
Assessment : Written exam and written report of the practical work in January
Oral exam in September
