Course contents : The main areas covered are:
Adolescent identities
Family and social relationships
Pathologies that are specific to adolescence
The adolescent and his/her body.
Course objective : To link theorical concepts to clinical practice involving adolescents.
To provide the basic notions necessary to analyse the psychological profile of two interviewed adolescents.
Prerequisites : Developmental psychology ( Psyc 0007-1), 1st Bac.
Child and adolescent psychology ( C 027), 2nd Bac.
Workshops : Interview two adolescents, write up a report and draw conclusions.
Organization : An interactive course in the 1st semester.
Each student is required to participate in a group presentation of one of the course areas.
Written notes : Student notes and a syllabus
Assessment : Oral exam in the 1st session and assessment of the report on the two interviews
