Course contents : There are two parts.
I. Linear algebra : operations for vectors and matrices, linear systems, characteristic vectors and values, quadratic forms.
II. Multivariate analysis : topology for n dimensional space. Partial derivation. Concave, convex, implicit and homogeneus functions. Extrema theory (without and with constraints).
Course objective : To use the mathematical theory, especially linear algebra and infinitesimal calculus, in economical problems.
Prerequisites : General mathematics and calculus for functions with one real variable.
Workshops : First semester : 10 hours.
Second semester : 10 hours.
Organization : For the two parts, 20 hours for theory and 10 hours for exercises.
