Learning unit contents

The main diseases occuring in wildlife species in Europe and susceptible to be transmitted to domestic animals are presented by species.

Learning outcomes of the learning unit

The objective is to integrate basic knowledge of wildlife diseases that present a risk of transmission to domestic animals and to know surveillance programs realised in wildlife.

Prerequisite knowledge and skills

Courses of bacterial, viral and parasitic diseases in the veterinary cursus (1er GMV)

Planned learning activities and teaching methods

Mode of delivery (face to face, distance learning, hybrid learning)

The formation includes 15 hours of ex-cathedra lectures and 15 hours of practical formation
