Learning outcomes of the learning unit

At the end of this teaching unit, the student will be able to:

Party:

Care itinerary:

Evaluate a clinical situation centered around the patient
Develop goals and interventions in a care itinerary based on scientific research, patient expectations and their characteristics
Design a nursing care project by describing all the elements of the care process, taking into account the analysis of the processes, the planning of the care as well as the procedures and therapeutic protocols.
Take into account the complexity and specificity of situations
Coordinate the process and the roles of the members of the interdisciplinary team involved in the care itinerary, including the patient and his entourage
Identify obstacles and resources specific to the patient or group of patients
Objectively assess the impact of the various interventions and the achievement of objectives

Distinguish care itineraries from personalized care plans, care protocols, care pathways, etc. and integrate these different tools into a global clinical approach
Analysis of complex situations:

- Propose relevant solutions to a problem resulting from the reflection posed on the analysis of a complex clinical situation (block 1)

- Choose a solution appropriately and validate your choice by reflecting on the context and using research.

- Apply the project management methodology.

- Mobilize the general knowledge of the Master in Nursing Sciences and more specifically the skills of an IPA nurse to put in place adapted and lasting solutions responding to the problems encountered in complex situations

Planned learning activities and teaching methods

The course is organized as follows:

Care itinerary:
Lectures - Exercises - Exchange of experiences
Analysis of complex situations:
- A presentation session of the teaching unit (objectives of the work, organization of the course, questions and answers)
- Oral presentation sessions of the progress of the work followed by oral feedback in the presence of a referent teacher.
- It translates into written work that reflects the project methodology carried out and the possible implementation of the project that emerges from it. Oral presentations of the progress of the work will allow guidance and reflection on the planned project and the methodology applied to it.
NB: the project in question does not have to be actually implemented or even tested in the field.

Part 2 of the GEST7084 course is dedicated to seminars. These seminars provide an opportunity to discuss the projects of the different groups and to deepen knowledge of the project methodology tools used in this work. Participation in these seminars is highly recommended; they can be taken even if the student does not have this unit in his or her course programme (please ask Mrs Maucq).
